Home-Assistant

Home-AssistantHome Assistant is an open-source home automation platform to monitor, automate, and control various devices without the Cloud. The backend is developed in Python[4] and is communicating over Websocket with the frontend which is built on Polymer.

Home Assistant is designed to run on a variety of operating systems (Linux, Windows, OS X) and different hardware from classical computers to single board computers while focusing on the latest release of the Raspberry Pi. As of June 2017, Home Assistant integrates with over 700 components including Amazon Echo, MQTT, MySensors, ZigBee, and Z-Wave.

Home Assistant won a Thomas Krenn Open Source Award[7] in 2017.

Home Assistant will track the state of all the devices in your home, so you don’t have to. It connects all of your standalone automations to be operated from a single user friendly interface. Easy to setup and configure, update and maintain.
